Girl time

Olive got a haircut today at the mall. She did great and loved shaking her head to feel the flowing locks.

While getting her hair washed and a little massaged, she expressed that this was her favorite part.

Saturday was my sweet husband's birthday. It was a pretty packed day. At 8am we headed to Annapolis for some surprise sailing lessons. Two hours with a French sailing teacher and chas' dreams of avid seamanship were solidified. Someday we will sail...a lot.

Then we headed to carmax to buy a...van. I know, I know. We just couldn't resist what we've been fighting for, well, not that long. We were busting out of the Prius and are now the proud owners of a VW Routan.

We ended the day with a little pre-Easter bash at the farm. All in all it was a great day. I think the birthday boy was even pleased, all 35 years of him. Yowza!

Backyard BBQ

When Zula was a newborn I was thinking she would be my little buddy. We are buddies and the 3 girls have lots of fun all day long. However, she is learning from olive that dad is the prince charming of the house and when he gets home it's party time. Here she is giggling over and over on his lap.

Smiles

This is the wallpaper on my cell phone. Every time I turn it on I see these two little sweeties. Their smiles make my heart melt/squeeze/burn so so much. What an amazing feeling it is to love little people so much.

Zula flashes me a smile while playing and standing at the same time!
